Want to help Hollywood promote health?

Consider a minor in Cinema-Television for the Health Professions.

Many people get their health information from movies and television, but information from these sources is often inaccurate and does not reflect the latest research or advances in clinical practice. Researchers and clinicians often have difficulty communicating with television and movie producers because they lack first-hand knowledge of cinema-television production. The health professions are also looking for people with media production skills. This minor seeks to bridge the gap between healthcare professionals and cinema-television producers. If you are planning on becoming a healthcare practitioner, researcher or health-related media-maker you should consider a minor in Cinema-Television for the Health Professions.
