Medical School
Students who want to attend medical school in the future will be able to fulfill medical school entrance requirements by selecting more life and physical science courses as part of the Health Promotion coursework. Students will be prepared to take the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) in their junior year. With an HP degree, students will enter medical school with extensive knowledge and a deep appreciation of health and its determinants.

Professional Programs
The HP program will also prepare students for fields such as dentistry, pharmacy, optometry, physician-assistant, physical therapy, law and other professional programs.

Graduate School
The HP degree will complement graduate studies in fields such as public health, health psychology, health administration, epidemiology, communication, business, economics and other programs.

Certification Programs
The HP degree will also prepare students for certification programs in teaching, health education, alcohol and drug abuse counseling, nutrition or fitness.

Employment in the Health Sector
With an HP degree, students will be able to obtain jobs in corporate wellness programs, medical settings, the fitness industry, educational institutions, the communications industry, and county and state health departments.
