USC Thornton Resident Outreach Ensemble inspires students and inmates in New Orleans
Horn Squad, the winning ensemble of the Thornton Outreach Chamber Ensemble Competition, recently performed in New Orleans in K-12 schools, universities, community venues and prisons. The Horn Squad is a French horn quartet comprised of USC Thornton students Annie Bosler, Brian Bush, Katie Faraudo and Anni Hochhalter. The weeklong residency, in partnership with Loyola University and the Louisiana Philharmonic, gave the students the opportunity to provide musical performances and master classes for hundreds of New Orleans residents in neighborhoods most impacted by Hurricane Katrina.Events
