The eight-day Winter Program, offered over a six-week period, is a non-residence program that meets at a series of Thursday through Saturday sessions and is specifically designed to accommodate the needs of students with more demanding schedules. Students develop technical expertise, gain an understanding of the development process; and learn to leverage resources, build a network and work in teams.||Course topics include the basics of real estate finance, financial analysis, investment modeling, market analysis, real estate law, architecture, valuation methods and project feasibility. The program also features coursework related to urban renewal issues, such as affordable housing, gap financing, project financing and loan underwriting. The highlight of the program is a group-oriented feasibility study that challenges the students to apply and integrate the covered coursework into a challenging "real-world" project.|
