Kid Watch
Kid Watch volunteer participants are encouraged by the USC Department of Public Safety, Los Angeles Police Department/Southwest Division, LAUSD Police and USC Civic and Community Relations to watch over local children in a reasonable manner and to observe and report crimes against them. The goal is to help make the neighborhoods of the USC Family of Schools safer so that local children can feel more comfortable going to school and home and take advantage of the area's academic, cultural and recreational centers. Funded in part by a USC Neighborhood Outreach grant.
Ages Served: 5 to 14 yrs.; 15 to 24 yrs.; Less than 5 yrs. old

Kid's Corner
The USC Athletics Kid's Corner program distributes complimentary tickets to youth organizations throughout Southern California. Because of the large number of groups participating in the Kid's Corner program (over 2,000), as well as NCAA and PAC 10 Conference restrictions on complimentary tickets, there are events and ticket quantity limits. Kids In Sports
In partnership with USC Recreational Sports, Kids In Sports expands instructional sports programs for low-income boys and girls at the Vermont Sports Club. The project serves boys and girls from the University Park and Health Sciences Campus area year-round, after school, and during weekend and summer periods. Recipient of a USC Neighborhood Outreach grant.

King Chronicles and Foshay Times
USC School of Journalism students work with students at Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School to produce a school newspaper each semester called King Chronicles and with Foshay Learning Center students to produce The Foshay Times. Some semesters, students also tape and edit a brief television story from Foshay.
