The USC Emeriti Center supports USC retirees and pre-retirees in living healthy and purposeful lives by providing opportunities for continued service and learning.
History and Purpose
The Emeriti Center was established at the University of Southern California in 1978 by then University President John R. Hubbard for the purpose of providing service and support for faculty and staff prior to retirement and throughout the retirement years. Leaders of the Emeriti Center assume the roles of communicator, advocate, liaison, and ombudsman regarding retirement policies and practices in cooperation with other divisions of the university.
