Provost Holds Luncheon
Honoring Faculty Retiring
in 2007–2008


USC Provost C. L. Max Nikias hosted the annual luncheon honoring faculty retiring during 2007–2008 at Town and Gown on the University Park Campus on November 20, 2008.  The luncheon was jointly organized by the USC Emeriti Center and the USC Retired Faculty Association.  Among the 92 attendees were 20 of the 48 retirees, family members, invited guests, and members of the Retired Faculty Association.  Representing Provost Nikias was Elizabeth Garrett, USC Vice President for Academic Planning and Budget.  Also addressing the honorees were Michael B. Nichol, President of the Faculty; Janette C. Brown, Executive Director of the USC Emeriti Center; and Jerome B. Walker, USC Emeriti College Director.  Masters of Ceremonies were Stebbins Chandor, Past President of the Retired Faculty Association, and Natalie Cohen, Retired Faculty Association President-Elect.
