Carole Gustin, Past President of the Staff Retirement Association, retired after twenty-one years of USC
service that included one year in the Freshman Writing Program, ten years in the School of International Relations, and the
last ten years in the School of Architecture. Through her affiliation with the SRA, she was given the opportunity to
participate in the Joint Committee that drafted a proposal that suggests ways in which the USC Retiree Community can be of
service to the University in new and exciting ways. As SRA President, she served on the Emeriti Center Executive
Committee, Board of Directors of the Retired Faculty Association, the Emeriti Council, and the Joint Program
Committee. Carole is President of her homeowners' association in Culver City and volunteers in a local elementary
school. She chairs committees dealing with several development projects that have a significant impact on the quality
of life in her community. She earned a Master's degree from USC's School of PublicAdministration. She is
proud to be a member of the Trojan Family and finds great joy in serving and supporting her University.
