Maricela has worked on campus since 2000, first as a payroll specialist in human resources, and as a budget
business analyst at the University Club. She joined the Emeriti Center as budget analyst in June 2008. Maricela
manages all accounts, budgeting, and purchases for the Emeriti Center and Emeriti College. She also assists with RFA
accounting and some SRA purchase requests along with other support for both membership organizations. In addition,
Maricela is responsible for Gold Cards, retiree e-mail and computer accounts, donor records, and managing contact data for
mailings, directory listings, and confidential files. Maricela is the wife of Sam Hinojosa,
Associate Director of Information Systems for USC Career and Protective Services.
