Change in the format for the GPSS Newsletter

Because so many great things are going on that you all want to share with your fellow grad students, we've decided to only list full details of the *NEW* listings and link to last week's newsletter for the *Reminders.* We hope this will allow for quicker reading and faster delivery through the listserv. 2.22 Business Etiquette Seminar - American Pharmacy Student Alliance
Upon enrollment into professional school, students enter the realm of interacting with fellow professionals, key leaders, and potential employers. The social skills of business etiquette are not intuitive, but rather learned. Such training is not available through the professional school curriculum, as there are no courses that prepare students for this transition into the professional world. The Business Etiquette Seminar will be an educational and interactive session presented by the established professional speaker, author, and columnist, Ms. Pamela Hillings. It will serve to improve social skills in professional presentation, gain confidence, and enable the individual to become more competitive upon applying to residency or entering the work force. Specific topics include networking at receptions, job interview protocol, interviewing over a meal, table etiquette, office manners, and electronic etiquette.
