FLIER FOR GPSS SPONSORED EVENTS
All fliers created for GPSS sponsored events must have
the relevant GPSS logo on the flier:
For Social Events, please use the "GPSS Nights" logo.
For Academic Events, please use "GPSS Academy"
For Community Service and Volunteer Events, please use "GPSS Outreach"
For HSC Events, please use the "GPSS HSC"

Posting Fliers
Below are different locations where you may post your fliers without permission. Please remember to use the bulletin boards or designated kiosks.
- Parking Structures: PSB, PSA, PSD, PSX
- Building Bulletin Boards: PKS, PRC, THH, SLH, SAS, WPH, TRO
- Outside Kiosks, located near: DEN, SGM, SSC, HAR, TSC, JEP, BSR
Posting is prohibited in the following locations:
- Trees and hedges Doors
- Windows Restrooms
- Telephone booths and poles Elevators
- Literature racks Statues
- Trash containers Lamp posts
- Automobile windshields In buildings other than on bulleting boards
Electronic Parking Kiosks
Please review the following steps to promote your events on the Electronic Kiosks. Complete at least 3 weeks before your event. Remember, your event is not guaranteed to appear.
- Visit transnet.usc.edu
- Click on the “forms” icon
- Click on “electronic signs”
- Fill out form and submit
Trousdale Banner/Display Cases Requests
The earlier the better, please reserve at least 4 weeks before your event.

If you and your organization have an event you would like to publicize, GPSS can help! There are several ways to communicate with your fellow graduate students:

If you would like the GPSS Public Relations Chair to design your flier, please contact the GPSS Public Relations Chair at gpsspr@usc.edu.
Please give at least 2 weeks notice prior to your event. E-mail must include event details (date, time, location, contact info, etc).
GPSS Weekly Newsletter
The digest is e-mailed to the GPSS listserve every Sunday, September through April. The Communications Chair manages this list.
- Membership on this listserve is voluntary. If you would like to sign up to receive listserve announcements (or delete yourself from the list), CLICK HERE.
- To send an announcement to the Digest (listserve) you must e-mail it to gpss@usc.edu NO LATER than Saturday at noon. You must send a blurb of your event (no more than 3 lines) and a more detailed description of the event. Please see the current digest to get an idea of the format.
Be concise and complete. Include the date, time, location, and contact. GPSS reserves the right to edit your message and limit the number of announcements in each Digest. |
