Membership is by invitation only. The USC chapter of PKP provides opportunities for undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty members to be recognized for their accomplishments by a supportive and engaged academic community.Founded in 1897 at the University of Maine, PKP is one of the nation's oldest and largest honor societies. PKP's membership currently numbers more than 900,000 scholars from across the globe. Approximately 32,000 students, faculty, professional staff, and alumni from 281 colleges and universities are inducted annually.Faculty and Student Recognition winners to be announced late January!2024 Undergraduate Summer ScholarshipsThe USC Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi invites USC Sophomores or Junior students to apply for a scholarship to support research or creative projects during the summer of 2024.Award amounts: Up to $1,000.Any student who is a Sophomore or Junior during the Spring 2024 semester and has a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average is eligible to apply. Students graduating in the summer are ineligible.To apply and learn more about the 2024 Undergraduate Summer Scholarship, click HERE for the PDF form and instructions.Fight On! 2024 PKP Fellowships for Year 1 of Graduate StudyCurrent members of Phi Kappa Phi in good standing, as well as new initiates planning to join or who have joined this spring, are eligible to apply for fellowship awards to support your first year of graduate study. The USC award is $1,500 and we select up four awardees. The USC PKP chapter selects awardees each year for local fellowships and submits one USC applicant for competition in the national PKP awards. If you plan to join PKP this spring as part of spring initiations, you are eligible to apply for the fellowships this year.
