Heading to the Wrigley Marine Science Center on Catalina Island ~ on board the USC Research Vessel Sea Watch.
Exploring terrestrial as well as marine themes ~ participants dissect owl pellets and gain first hand knowledge about owls and food webs.
Archaeology and island history come alive as girls create soapstone crafts using techniques very similar to those of the Native Americans on Catalina, hundreds of years ago.
In addition to lab activities, snorkeling, kayaking and field studies (to name a few!) there's still time for fun at the beach...
