  • Participated in a research cruise to the Eastern Tropical South Pacific (January 2009 – March 2009) and an oceanic cruise near station ALOHA, Hawaii (July 2010)
  • Completed training for LC-MS, ICP-MS, and flow cytometry
  • Examined the role of B-vitamins on phytoplankton and marine bacteria through environmental analysis and in lab culture experimentation
