- Working with Dr. Freyberg, hydrologist and faculty member, to develop new projects relating to water and sediment transport studies of Searsville Lake.
- Participated in surveying of wells - some preliminary work with GIS is planned
- In charge of weekly monitoring of approx. 10 piezometers within the lake system

- Assisted Ph.D. candidate and visiting professor on laboratory work dealing with flow fields around coral heads
- In charge of measurements and analysis to quantify topographic variability or 'roughness' of the corals in the flume
