Climate Change Adaptation

Decision-makers in Southern California's coastal cities and counties generally recognize that climate change will impact their communities and coastline. Sea level rise threatens coastal infrastructure and wetlands; increased storminess could lead to damaging floods and mudslides. California's coastal communities are at different stages in developing and/or implementing climate change adaptation plans. At USC Sea Grant, we are working with local communities to help them wherever they are in the process of climate change adaptation planning.
