Pei-Hsuan Chu is the Director of the University of Southern California's International Office in Taiwan. She handles all aspects of the operation of the Taipei Office under the guidance of the International Offices at USC. The Taipei Regional Office develops a range of services, activities, and programs to: improve efforts to organize and serve the University's alumni; enhance efforts to recruit qualified students; improve communications with parents of Taiwan students; facilitate academic exchanges; and cultivate local donors. Pei was appointed as the first Director of the Taipei Regional Office in April 1998.

Before joining USC, Pei worked for the Australian Commerce and Industry Office in Taiwan (Australian government's representative office) for three years as Assistant Director for the Education Section. Prior to that, Pei was a News Reporter for the China TV Company in Taiwan for one year and a Foreign News Translator and Editor for two years.

Pei received her undergraduate degree in English Literature from the National Central University in Taiwan. She holds a master degree in American Studies from the Tamkang University in Taiwan. The other master degree that she has is the MBA from the University of Southern California with a marketing and general management emphasis.
