Catherine Leung
Catherine Leung is the Director of the University of Southern California's International Offices Hong Kong, China.
Working together with the other USC International Offices, Catherine manages a wide range of university operations in Hong Kong and China to support USC's presence in Asia. She devotes herself to serving students, parents, alumni and friends of USC. She helps develop services and social activities that strengthen the bonds and networks among Trojan Family members in Hong Kong and China. Catherine also assists USC in recruiting qualified students, cultivating regional donors, and facilitating academic exchanges with local universities, government agencies, and private corporations.
In the past years, Catherine helped organize the first USC Asia Conference in Hong Kong and the first Off-campus Freshmen Orientation in Asia, founded the USC Alumni Dragon Boat Racing Team, helped establish the USC Parents' Association in Hong Kong, and gained the sponsorship form Hong Kong Tourist Board, which brought the USC Trojan Marching Band to Hong Kong.
Prior to joining USC, Catherine was a Senior Consultant with Deloitte & Touche LLP in Los Angeles, specializing in the financial service industry. She supervised consulting and audit engagements, constructed and presented business solutions, developed budget, and trained team members. Catherine had also worked with the HSBC group, Merrill Lynch, Citibank, and W. I. Carr.
Besides serving as the Director of USC's International Offices Hong Kong, Catherine is also actively involved in several organizations. She is a board member of the USC Hong Kong Parents' Association, the President of the Hong Kong Community Youth Club, the President of the Hong Kong Ling Liang Church Kindergarten Alumni Association, and the Public Relations Advisor for the USC Hong Kong Student Association.
Catherine completed her undergraduate education in USC's Marshall School of Business, with an emphasis in finance. She then received a Masters in Accounting from USC's Leventhal School of Accounting. Catherine is also a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and Beta Gamma Sigma, the Honor Society for AACSB Accredited Business Programs.
