Patricia O'Keefe
Patricia O'Keefe is the Director of the USC International Offices in Tokyo.
On behalf of USC and based in Japan she initiates and oversees a variety of services, activities, and programs to: improve efforts to organize and serve the University's alumni; enhance efforts to recruit qualified students; facilitate academic exchange; cultivate regional donors and improve communications with fellow Trojan families. She also facilitates meetings between USC faculty and administrators who frequently visit Japan for research, conferences and other projects.
Prior to directing the USC International Offices Tokyo, Patricia managed client accounts for the advertising agency Strata Media where she presented strategic advertising campaigns and marketing plans to corporate clients. Prior to Strata, she worked for Disney both in Japan and the United States. At Walt Disney Attractions Japan she ensured Disney standards throughout Tokyo Disneyland and at Walt Disney Entertainment in Los Angeles she served as the Imagineers' Japanese liaison for the newly developing Tokyo DisneySea project.
Patricia received her MBA from the IBEAR program at USC's Marshall School of Business in 2002 and is a third generation USCion. She received her undergraduate degree in political science from UCLA and has studied language and culture at Keio University in Tokyo and La Sorbonne in Paris. In addition to her formal career, she also serves as the Executive Secretary for the USC Alumni Club in Tokyo. Patricia has an extensive history with Japan having lived and worked Tokyo since 1989.
