John Windler is the Director of the University of Southern California's International Offices. He oversees the comprehensive administrative operations for a multi-country network of offices throughout Asia and the Pacific Rim. The international offices develop a range of services, activities, and programs to: improve efforts to organize and serve the University's alumni; enhance efforts to recruit qualified students; improve communication with families of Pacific Rim students; facilitate academic exchange; and cultivate regional donors. John also serves as the Associate Director of the Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBEAR). His duties include coordinating the activities of the Center under a Department of Education grant. CIBEAR aims to foster international business understanding and to make Americans more competitive in the international market place. Prior to these duties, John was the director of USC's Marshall School of Business' IBEAR Program's International Executive Training Programs.

John has extensive management and operations experience as an owner of the Computer Learning Center in Denver, Colorado. Prior to this, John spent almost fifteen years in the motion picture industry, most recently as president and director of operations at Scene Cinema. After a long work history, John took several years of leave for both educational purposes and to travel extensively in the South Pacific, during which time he became particularly familiar with Australia and New Zealand. John currently serves on the U.S. Department of Commerce's District Export Council, Export Small Business Development Center, USC's International Affairs Committee and was on the Board of Directors of the Foreign Trade Association of Southern California for six years.

John received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton with an emphasis in management and finance. He received his MBA from the University of Southern California with an international and finance emphasis.
