Faculty member of the institute and various administrative positions in it since 1968. The institute is the first graduate school of management in Indonesia, an inter-faith institution jointly founded by Christians, Moslems, Hindus, and Buddhists in 1967. I retired in 2000 after 32 years of service.

- 1966-1967 as a chairman of the Indonesian Student Christian Movement during the student uprising and the change of government in which 500 0000 people were killed.
- 1968-1975 regional and international involvement with the American Friends Service Committee in South East Asia
- Currently, peacemaking in Maluku and Irian Jaya as a Board member of World Vision
