Executive Director of the Center for Work and Family Life, John Gaspari, was recently honored by the USC School of Social Work with the Jules Levine Memorial Award for Distinguished Field Instruction.
John, a graduate of the USC School of Social Work (MSW, 1988), and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, provides clinical supervision and support for social work students who participate in an internship with CWFL.
The award was named after Jules Levine, a supervising social worker at Valley Child Guidance Clinic in the 1960s and 1970s. The award is given annually to a field instructor who has made a significant impact on the quality of field education provided to students of the School of Social Work.
John was previously recognized in May 2008 with the Distinguished Service Award in Field Education, also from the USC School of Social Work.
