ORGANIZATION STRUTURE
The USC Health Collaborative is organized under the auspices of the university’s Office of the Provost.
The Collaborative is guided by a 21-member Steering Committee comprised of senior faculty who have an active interest in health and related issues, and who are drawn from a majority of schools within the university. In addition to these school participants, the Steering Committee includes a number of special representatives from university-affiliated health care entities.
The Steering Committee is chaired by Michael Nichol, Ph.D. (School of Pharmacy). Glenn Melnick, Ph.D. (School of Policy, Planning, and Development) serves as secretariat. Lois Green, MHSA (School of Policy, Planning and Development) provides staff consulting support to the Steering Committee.
Steering Committee members meet approximately four times annually to facilitate networking and information exchange, and to identify projects and activities that encourage multidisciplinary communication, research and education in health and related fields.
Participation and membership in the USC Health Collaborative is open to interested university faculty, students and fellows, research, administrators and staff.
