Welcome to the website of the Multidisciplinary Advisory Council on Noninvasive Imaging (MACNIS), a cooperative effort of scientists from academia, from government (FDA and NIH), from the imaging and the pharmaceutical industries, and from professional and scientific organizations.

      This organization was created as a result of a workshop convened in February 2007 by the USC Biomedical Imaging Science Initiative aimed at identifying and addressing the roadblocks limiting the wider and more effective use of Imaging-based Tools for Target Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics and their Role in Drug Development and in Drug Monitoring.
