Research/ Academic Opporutnities
- CSUDH McNair Senior Summer Camp: The
purpose of the intensive 5-day/4-night experience is to prepare rising senior
McNair Scholars for the graduate school application process and life as a
graduate student. If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact
our office.
For those of you getting ready to take the Graduate
Record Exam (GRE) in the next couple months,
please remember to put down USC
as on of the schools you want your scores
reported to.
- To obtain a GRE fee waiver, please go to
the financial aid office to obtain a
form or you may pick one up in the office.
Please allow at least two weeks for financial
aid to process your request. You should
hear back by mail if you have been granted
or denied the waiver. You will be granted
a GRE fee waiver for the general exam and one
subject test by the University if you meet their
income guidelines.
Special Note to Past McNair Scholars:
Should you be denied a GRE fee waiver
by the University, McNair will have ten
fee waivers in the office. The fee waiver
will cover one general exam and one subject
test. To register for the GRE test you
must call the number listed on the waiver
form.
