Research Description

Dr. Wu's research focuses on the epidemiology of cancer with emphasis on understanding the increase of various (e.g., breast, ovarian, prostate, colon ) cancers among Asian migrants to the US. A second area of research interest relates to the study of tobacco-related cancers (e.g., lung, stomach/esophagus) and genes that may be important in the metabolism of tobacco constituents.
