NIH-sponsored predoctoral Training Program
in Genetic, Molecular and Cellular Biology
Students in PIBBS and in any of the PIBBS-affiliated Ph.D. programs will have the opportunity to apply for membership in a new training program sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) with two main goals: 1) to foster an interdisciplinary approach to biological and biomedical research; 2) to introduce students to methods of computational biology used to analyze complex data sets.   (More information)
Minority Partnerships

We are partners with California State University at Fullerton in the Bridges Program. This program is sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIGMS) for the purpose of facilitating the transition from community colleges to four year institutions and from masters-degree programs to Ph.D.-degree programs with the goal of increasing the number of under-represented minorities going into biomedical research. Please visit the website of the CSUF Bridges Program for more information.
