Studies will be presented to demonstrate the fidelity, reproducibility and increased sensitivity that can be gained by using the WT-Ovation™ amplification system for QPCR.

NMR spectroscopy is one the most powerful technologies for the study of time-related, quantitative metabolic responses in intact tissues (metabonomics) producing a comprehensive profile of metabolite signals. Dr. Zwingmann's work addressed brain metabolism changes particularly in astrocytes.
Her current work addresses the changes in metabolic pathways in chronic liver failure, portacaval shunting and apoptosis of the liver. Some of this work has been presented at AASLD and DDW meetings. |
