Services We Provide

The Office of Religious Life provides valuable services for the student, staff, faculty, and alumnae community at USC.

  • Religious Life programming includes on-campus speaker series including What Matters to Me and Why, Medicine for the Soul, Spirit of the Law and other lectures, discussions, films, and public happenings. For more information about events that are going on currently, see our Events page.

  • Academic presentations and community participation by the Dean of Religious Life, Varun Soni, and Associate Dean, Rev. Jim Burklo, both on campus and off.

  • Participation in ceremonial occasions at USC, such as Commencement, Baccalaureate, and invocations and/or benedictions for campus convocations.

  • Certification of student religious groups as recognized within an overall structure developed by the Office of Student Activities.

  • Pastoral counseling and spiritual guidance to members of the University community who seek these out.
