Many USC undergraduates are thrilled to assist faculty with their research. Many faculty members—from the Medical School, the School of Fine Arts, and other schools and departments across the University—benefit from having undergraduates as research assistants. The USC Research Clearinghouse facilitates matches between interested students and faculty.
Students who wish to get involved in faculty research submit information about their background, experience, skills, interests, and availability to assist with faculty research. Faculty who are willing to take on undergraduate assistants submit information about the nature of their research, how they would use undergraduate assistants, and how many assistants they would like. When a match is found, we provide contact information to the student and faculty member.
