 USC Provost's Undergraduate Research Fellowships

Grant Period: Spring 2010
I. Overview of the Program
The Office of the Provost will provide a limited number of fellowships for undergraduate research in Academic Year 2009-2010. Each undergraduate student funded by the program will receive a stipend in the amount of $1000 to support full-time research in any academic field for a period of not less than ten weeks during the period January 11 through April 30. All full-time USC faculty engaged in research are eligible to serve as faculty supervisors.
II. Eligibility Requirements for Students
- Enrollment at USC during Spring 2010 in a program leading to an undergraduate degree.
- USC cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. Preference will be given to students whose USC cumulative GPA is 3.5 or better.
III. Application Process
- Agreement to file a two-page summary of the completed research project before May 17, 2010.
IV. Timeline
Completed applications should be submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Programs in GFS 227 by December 17, 2009.
