WiSE Summer Social Hikes
Organized by the WiSE Postdoctoral Association
Next Hike: Saturday, July 21st, "A Day at the Beach"
Meet at 10:00 AM at the beach end of the Venice Pier (on Washington Blvd)
We will leave the pier at 10:30AM, heading north for the Santa Monica Pier. The walk is about 2.5 miles and is entirely on the boardwalk. We will end at the Santa Monica Pier. From here you can take advantage of nearby shopping (both along the boardwalk and at the 3rd St Promenade), dining and recreation activities. To get back to your cars, if you've parked them near the Venice Pier and a day in the sun has you tired out, the Big Blue Bus number 1 will take you back to within a half mile or so of your car for 75 cents. Bring your sunscreen, a lunch, or money to pick up something on the way! All family and friends are welcome!
No RSVP required; this is a no-host event - we look forward to seeing you there!
