"Yellow" Picnic Area
Organized by the WiSE Postdoctoral Association
The WiSE postdoctoral group would like to invite you to our first WiSE community picnic and barbeque. Come reconnect with old friends and meet new colleagues and friends. This should be a great way to ring the new academic year! Families, friends, and leashed dogs are all welcome!
We have reserved the "Yellow" group picnic area, located near the Swings (from ticket booth turn left at the 4th driveway). Cars must pay a $4 entry fee, but parking is plentiful near public restrooms, picnic tables, and drinking fountains. The Park offers several walking trails, and some of the best scenic vistas of Los Angeles. There are more than 7 miles of trails, playgrounds and athletic fields -- so wear comfortable shoes and frisbees and soccer balls are welcome!
Please also bring a dish to share (anything is welcome, use your imagination). We will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, and beverages.
