Urbashi Mitra Honored for Service by the Viterbi School
Urbashi Mitra, Professor in the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical Engineering, was awarded Service Award for Faculty in recognition of her work on the behalf of WiSE faculty in the USC Viterbi School of Engineering at the Annual Viterbi Awards Ceremony on April 23, 2009.
Mitra is a recognized authority on multiuser mobile and personal communications, sensor networks, and ultra wideband systems. She has served as Chair of the USC WiSE Viterbi Committee for three years.
