- Engineering Education Services Center's Directory of Pre-Engineering Summer Camps. Lists summer camps for high school students in science, mathematics, and engineering throughout the United States that are and were previously offered. Please note that all camps may not be offered every year and that new camps and programs are currently being added.
- 2008 LEAD Workshop for department chairs, deans and emerging leaders in science, engineering and mathematics. Focused on providing academic leaders with the skills and resources to address issues of professional development and department and university culture for all faculty. A pre-workshop mentoring-for-leadership event will also be offered to women faculty. July 21-22, 2008 in Seattle, Washington.
- Iowa State University Summer Intern Program for undergraduate women in science, technology, engineering and math majors. The internship allows undergraduates to work on a variety of projects and gain hands-on research experience under the supervision of Iowa State faculty and staff. In addition to working on a research project, interns attend seminars, write a research paper and summarize their research in a formal poster presentation. Undergraduate interns will work for eight weeks, beginning June 2, 2008 and ending on July 25, 2008 and will be paid a stipend of $3,500 for the entire program.Deadline: February 1, 2008.
- Pasteur Foundation Undergraduate Summer 2008 Internships These 10-week internships at the Institut Pasteur, one of the world's leading private, nonprofit centers for infectious disease research, offer hands-on laboratory experience to undergraduates contemplating a scientific career. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. Living allowance is $400 per week. See our website for information and downloads. Deadline: December 14, 2007.
- The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) is administering The Naval Research Enterprise Intern Program (NREIP) sponsored by the Office of Naval Research.

NREIP is a ten week summer research opportunity for undergraduate Juniors & Seniors, and Graduate students, under the guidance of a mentor, at a participating Navy Laboratory. The stipend amounts for the program are $5,500 for undergraduate students and $6,500 for graduate students. U.S. citizenship required; Permanent residents accepted at certain labs. - The Association for Women in Mathematics Travel Grant Program to support 1) mathematicians attending mathematics conferences; and 2) mathematicians attending a mathematics education research conference, or mathematics education researchers attending a mathematics conference.
