Note on Web Hebrew Fonts

Several files in this project may require a font that can recognize both Roman characters and Hebrew. Such fonts are available on the WWW for downloading. For example, you might configure your regular Windows WWW browser to use Web Hebrew AD and Web Hebrew Monospace (a fixed space font) or similar ISO 8859-8 font to display both Roman and Hebrew characters. You might also try a multi-lingual Windows browser, such as Accent Multilingual Mosaic. (In Accent use Hebrew-Snunit font for this page, ISO 8859-8 for other pages, as indicated). In addition, for some SGML/TEI files (.sgml), it will be necessary to use a browser such as PanoramaPro , with an appropriate ISO 8859-8 font on your system.

For Macintosh and UNIX users, please check for Hebrew resources (I will be glad to make reference available with appropriate credit if you will send the locations to me).
