Students meeting the Renaissance Scholars requirements will be eligible to compete for $10,000 Renaissance Scholar Prizes that have been specially authorized by the Board of Trustees. Students competing for these special prizes will submit faculty recommendations and an essay in which they discuss how their studies in two widely separate fields have affected their intellectual, social and professional development. A faculty panel will select the recipients of these special prizes, which will be awarded for the purpose of post-baccalaureate study. Evidence of enrollment in a graduate program is required in order to receive the prize. If you have been designated as a Renaissance Scholar Candidate and you are a graduating senior you may wish to compete for the Renaissance Scholar prize. To do so, you must include the Renaissance Scholars Prize Competition Coversheet with your materials. Please note that the Renaissance Scholars Prize Competition Coversheet is unavailable at this time. We will begin accepting applications in February 2009.
