Affymetrix Core Laboratory

The Affymetrix Core provides genomic analyses, predominantly using Affymetrix GeneChips, for: Whole transcriptome gene expression profiling, for human and mouse, and any other organism for which Affymetrix microarrays are available; p53 mutation analysis, using Affymetrix p53 GeneChips; and whole genome high density SNP analyses, using 10K, 100K SNP and 500K arrays. Norris Center Genomics Core

The Genomics Core Facility performs high throughput analyses of genetic (polymorphism/mutation) and epigenetic variations (DNA methylation) that underlie predisposition and progression to cancer. The Core uses the latest technology to evaluate primarily genetic variations for association studies using single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). Visit Site
