For USC Researchers
The Office of Research Advancement offers help for investigators who are seeking funding and applying to sponsored research competitions.
It provides a number of tools, which can be accessed via the navigation links on the right side of this page, that:
- Help investigators to find funding opportunities through the use of sponsored research databases, such as Community of Science and InfoEd SPIN, as well as through access to federal agency sponsored research sites like Grants.gov and FedBizOpps.
- Promote institutionally limited extramural opportunities for competitions where investigators must receive clearance from the Office of the Provost.
- Assist faculty and graduate students in refining their funding strategies and proposal development in order to increase the likelihood of successful grant applications.
- Facilitate the proposal submission process via access to commonly used resources such as Proposal Approval Records, the USC Sponsored Research Manual, and the Office of Compliance.
We also provide direct assistance for investigators in finding sponsored research opportunities and in honing funding strategies. For more information, contact the Office of the Vice Provost for Research Advancement.
