Funding Databases
Researchers seeking funding opportunities can use sponsored research opportunity databases to locate funding awards for which they are eligible. USC subscribes to the two leading commercial databases, InfoEd SPIN and Community of Science (COS). In addition, several other databases that are useful to investigators are listed below as well.
Many databases, including SPIN and COS, also offer email notification services where researchers can create customized email bulletins to receive regular alerts about upcoming competitions in their areas of interests.

Listing of upcoming requests for proposals (RFPs) from philanthropic sources, sorted by subject. Also, Foundation Center site maintains a comprehensive list of foundations and philanthropic organizations. - GrantsNet
Searchable database of funding opportunities for research and education specifically in the biological and medical sciences. - Texas Research Administrators Group (TRAM)
Search engine for research funding opportunities. Also maintains comprehensive list of federal regulations covering sponsored research, as well as a lengthy list of links to other universities' research support offices.
