Securing External Funding for Research in Crime, Justice and Related Issues

Who Should Attend

Course is designed for USC investigators and specialists interested in social and behavioral sciences, policy research and law, and the health sciences, particularly mental health.

Course Description

Workshop identifies external funding sources across federal agencies in areas related to crime, violence and justice, focusing on the Department of Justice but including other agencies such as the Department of State, NIH, and Centers for Disease Control. The course helps researchers to target appropriate funders, tailor applications to agency requirements, develop ties with program officers and strengthen proposals.
