Annenberg broadcast student Seth Doane created the following 6-minute video as a class project in 2000. It describes in the words of students, teachers and others the origins, methods and goals of the unique class established in the journalism School devoted to examining new media treatment of gay and lesbian issues. The course was then titled Sexual Orientation Issues in the News.
