I think all of the historical references to the "Wild Bunch" have gotten the SC running backs a little jealous. Can anyone say "Return of Tailback U" ? Just when we thought LenDale White would take the reins as the #1 RB, after we thought Hershel Dennis was faster than a speeding bullet,
Reggie Bush has decided to up his play! Way to go Dash, or Slash, or Mash, or Crash or whatever Dan Fouts called you. The discovery and development of a revamped SC running game has worked wonders for SC's offense.

If you have access to a tape of the Notre Dame game, check out the closing minutes of the first half. NBC productions accidentally left a musical soundtrack behind the game-play. This little jazz/pop-ensemble adds hilarity to the Notre Dame offense. It's hard to explain, but check it out. You'll end up rolling on the floor laughing.

I'll admit that I might have stooped to an all-time low at the Notre Dame game by heckling Carson Daly. The So-Cal native was decked out in Irish gear, so I yelled at him.

If you really want to annoy Notre Dame fans, start a Rudy chant when they are losing 45-14.

My friend who did not have a ticket for the game was wandering around the Notre Dame campus trying to find one. He asked dozens and dozens of fans. He asked a specific man with his wife and kids for a ticket. The man gave him a funny look and kept walking. The man was Joe Montana.

Whoever thought that the USC Marching Band should commemorate the career of Gloria Estefan should get kicked in the face.

Notre Dame fans are by far the coolest fans this side of sanity. Fist pumping, the formation of pushups, "kill, kill, kill"..amazing!

The Lakers will lose 6 of their first 10 games, but will go on and win 64 of their last 74 games. (ed. note: there are only 82 games in the NBA season, but with all that star-power, the NBA may let the Lakers play 2 extra games)

I'm really happy the Yankees lost the World Series. The last two years have proved that money can't buy championships.

Is it just me, or was the start of the NHL season quieter than the USC Greek Row on a Friday night?
