Workshop on AI/ES in Accounting

CALL FOR PAPERS


An Official Tutorial at the

American Accounting Association Meeting in Dallas, Texas

Purpose

The purpose of the workshop will be to review some of the primary impacts of artificial intelligence and expert systems on research and education in accounting. For speakers please see (http://www.usc.edu/dept/sba/atisp/AIS).

Papers

Papers are solicited on virtually any aspect relating to AI/ES and Accounting. Please submit your papers to either Dan O'Leary or Anthony Wensley at your earliest convenience, but no later than August 4, 1997. Paper submissions can be either in paper or electronic format.

Due to a mix up this was not included in the official AAA program. Please distribute this information to others with an interest in accounting and AI/ES. The workshop on "AI/ES in Accounting Education" workshop will be included in this workshop.

Registration

All speakers and participants must register for the workshop. Registration will be done on site at the American Accounting Association Meeting. If you attend the morning session the cost is $60. If you attend the afternoon session the cost is $60. You can attend all day for $120. Prices are set by the AAA.
