READING assignments are to be prepared for discussion on the date they are noted.
ASSIGNMENTS are due the beginning of the next class, for instance cases 1-3, 1-4, 1-5, 2-3 and 2-4 should he completed prior to class on September 13th. Assignments should be prepared in writing, keep answers concise and to the point. Answers will be collected at the end of the class. Answers must be legibly written or typed.
Final Paper
One of the requirements of the course is a PAPER or PROJECT in one of the following areas; information security, information control or information systems audit. Papers should be approximately 15 pages (no more than), double spaced, not including the references and bibliography. All research/projects proposals must be submitted for approval by the third class, please see me to discuss potential topics. Projects involving direct field work are strongly encouraged to gain actual audit experience.
The paper or project will be PRESENTED to the class. Presentations should be kept to fifteen minutes.
Summary Bibliography
To aid in completing your research or pro3ect you will need to obtain articles related to your research topic/project. You should select five of these articles for summarization.
Attach these summari es to your PAPERS DUE THE LAST DAY OF CLASS. The summaries should be no longer than a page and include your opinion/comments.
Active participation, preparation and attendance will be considered.
