第一号通知  征集论文

1、  研讨范围：有关中国语言学的所有领域。

2、  一般论文：请将论文摘要邮寄筹委会，电子邮件或传真恕不接受。

（1）       摘要以一页A4/Letter纸为限，中文用宋体或细明体（小四号），英文用Times New Roman（12-point），四周各空25毫米。

（2）       请寄5份，其中1份具名（作者姓名、单位、电子邮址），请居中置于标题之下；4份不具名，以便匿名审阅。

（3）       另附1张A4纸，请写论文题目、作者姓名、单位和职称、身份（学生/非学生）、邮寄地址、电话或传真号码以及电子邮址等。请注明论文涉及的领域（例如：语音学、语义学、方言学等）。

3、  参赛论文：青年学者奖/桥本万太郎奖

（1）       参赛者资格：年龄35岁或以下，其职称在副教授（美国/中国制度）或高级讲师（英国及相关制度）以下者。桥本万太郎奖专授予汉语历史音韵学研究成果，其参赛资格与青年学者奖相同。

（2）       参赛者需先提交论文全文及论文摘要。

A． 全文以A4/Letter纸25页为限，摘要以1页为限。

B． 全文及摘要分别需寄6份，1份具名（作者姓名、单位、电子邮址），5份不具名。

C． 其它请参照第2中的（1）和（3）项。

First Announcement: Call for Papers

1.       Research areas: All areas of Chinese linguistics.

2.       Normal Papers: Abstracts are requested to be air-mailed to the organizing committee. Abstracts sent by e-mail or fax will not be accepted.

(1)    Abstract should be Camera-ready, type written in 12-point font size, with 1 inch space (25mm) on each side, not exceeding one page.

(2)    Five copies are required; one with title, author’s name, affiliation and e-mail address if any (to be centered below the title); the other four (for anonymous review) with title only.

(3)    Please include a separate sheet of paper containing paper title, author’s name, status (student or non-student), affiliation, air-mail/e-mail addresses, and phone/fax numbers. Please also identify the linguistic area of the paper. (e.g., Phonetics, Semantics, Dialectology, etc.).

3.       Young Scholar Award (YSA)/Mantaro J. Hashimoto Award

(1)    Qualification: The candidates of YSA should be 35 years of age or below, and their current rank is below that of Associate Professor in American/Chinese system, or Senior Lecturer in English system (or relevant ranks in other systems). Mantaro J. Hashimoto Award is special for the research of Chinese historical phonology, and it is administered as part of the YSA process.

(2)    Submitted papers should not exceed 25 pages and must be accompanied by both an abstract and a cover letter giving age, academic rank, and air-mail/e-mail addresses. Six copies of the paper and abstract are required: one with title, author’s name, affiliation and e-mail address, if any; the other five with title only.

(3)    Please include a separate sheet of paper as indicated in (1) and (3) of 2 above.
