This page is devoted to reference resources for the theoretical study of the Chinese language in relation to the general characterization of human languages, to cognitive studies, and to discourse and pragmatic function. It includes corpora, bibliographical information and some works that have not yet been published.
The page features reference resources according to the subfields of linguistic studies, authors and topics. The topics focus on the grammatical study of formal properties of the Chinese language in relation to Universal Grammar and Typological Universals.
If you would like to have your work added to the list, please let us know. Our research community  welcomes and appreciates your contribution greatly.
This project is made possible by a generous research grant from Mr. Bradley Kerr and Mrs. Joyce Kerr and by timely financial and staff support from the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences of the University of Southern California.
