Dr. Audrey Li, Chinese Language Program Director

Dr. Nansong Huang nansongh@usc.edu

The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures offers a 4-week and an 8-week intensive Chinese language program in Beijing beginning May 25, 2009. Participants will be able to transition seamlessly to the next-level courses upon returning to campus. Students will have an opportunity to extend their stay in Beijing by participating in various available internships. Cultural visits and excursions will be included in the tuition fee.

Beijing, a 3,000-year-old city, has been the national capital for most of the past 600 years and has been the cultural and political center of China. Beijing is also the host city of 2008 Summer Olympics. Program participants will have many opportunities to explore the richly historic city, and take in the excitement of being at the Olympics.
