Appointments are available Tuesday through Thursday. Please stop by the office or call (213) 740-8335 to schedule an appointment. Should you need help planning, filling out forms, registering for courses, or with other academic needs, please make an appointment. This ensures that Jennifer is prepared to meet with you. Her appointment book is in the rack outside of her office, KAP 300C.

Walk-ins are for brief questions or immediate problems. Most Mondays from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Jennifer is available for walk-ins. If you come to walk-ins you MUST bring a print out of your STARS report with you. The STARS report tells you the status of your academic progress. Please remember that there are approximately 450 ECON students who need assistance, and plan accordingly. If you need in-depth advising and want to plan out your remaining semesters at USC, you need to schedule a regular appointment. 

D-CLEARANCE

D-Clearance is no longer required for Economics courses unless requested by the professor.

NO D-Clearances are required for spring 2008.

PREREQUISITES

If you have taken a lower-division prerequisite course elsewhere (community college, AP exam, etc.), you will still need to obtain a prerequisite override in order to enroll. The D-clearance and the prerequisite override form
is available in KAP 300 in the rack next to the book case outside of Jennifer’s office. You need to submit these requests 24 hours prior to your registration time. (Remember: Econ staff does not work on Saturday and Sunday; plan accordingly.)
