Summary Statement of Research Interests
|
|
Professor Qin's research focuses on understanding the structure/function relationship of nucleic acids. His group is developing a biophysical tool, called site-directed spin labeling (SDSL), to probe structural and dynamics of nucleic acids. SDSL is used in conjunction of other biochemical and biophysical approaches to investigate specific DNA and RNA molecules that are key in understanding basic biological processes and deciphering causes of human diseases.
